Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Visupair handles personal data when you visit visupair.com, create an account, buy products or services, or contact Visupair. It is meant to be readable. If anything is unclear, email info@visupair.com.

For the rules of using the site, see the Terms of Service. For cookies, see the Cookie Policy.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller for personal data described here is Visupair, operating the website at visupair.com. If required by law in your market, Visupair will publish or provide the legal name and postal address of the seller on request or on the site (for example in an imprint or checkout information).

2. What data Visupair collects

Depending on what you do on the site, Visupair may process:

  • Account and profile — email address, name (if you provide it), profile image (for example from social sign-in), password hash if you use email/password (Visupair does not store your password in plain text), and account preferences linked to your profile.
  • Orders and fulfilment — shipping name and address, contact details, order contents, payment status, and related messages needed to deliver physical goods or grant access to digital goods.
  • Payment data — payments are handled by Visupair’s payment provider. Visupair typically receives limited information (for example last digits of a card or payment confirmation, customer identifiers, and fraud signals); Visupair does not store your full card number on its own servers.
  • Communications — messages you send to Visupair (support, contact forms, service requests) and transactional emails Visupair sends you (verification, password resets, order updates where applicable).
  • Technical and usage data — IP address, device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, and similar data from logs and security tools. This helps Visupair run, secure, and improve the site.
  • Favourites and in-app activity — for example product IDs you save while logged in.

3. Why Visupair uses your data and legal bases (GDPR)

Where EU/EEA/UK data protection law applies, Visupair relies on the following legal bases:

  • Contract — processing needed to provide the site, your account, checkout, delivery, downloads, and paid services you request.
  • Legitimate interests — for example securing the site, preventing fraud and abuse, improving performance, measuring aggregate use in a privacy-respecting way, and contacting you about your account or orders where not strictly contractual.
  • Consent — where required for optional cookies or marketing (see the Cookie Policy). You may withdraw consent at any time where Visupair relies on it.
  • Legal obligation — for example tax, accounting, or responding to lawful requests from authorities.

4. Who Visupair shares data with

Visupair uses carefully selected service providers (“processors”) who process data on Visupair’s instructions and under appropriate agreements:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, content delivery, security, and related infrastructure (traffic and log data may be processed when you use the site).
  • Stripe, Inc. (and affiliates as applicable) — payment processing and fraud prevention when you pay.
  • Google LLC — if you choose Sign in with Google, Google processes data needed for authentication under Google’s policies as well as Visupair’s.
  • Resend, Inc. — sending transactional email (for example email verification and password reset).
  • Sanity AS — Visupair’s content platform for publishing products, portfolio, and related website content. It may process technical data when the site loads content from Sanity’s services.

Visupair may also share information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger or asset transfer (with notice where appropriate).

5. Transfers outside your country

Some providers listed above are based in the United States or other countries outside the EEA/UK. Where personal data is transferred, Visupair relies on tools recognised by EU/UK law (for example Standard Contractual Clauses or provider mechanisms offered under those frameworks), unless another valid transfer tool applies.

6. How long Visupair keeps data

Visupair keeps personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Examples:

  • Account data — while your account is open and for a reasonable period after closure to resolve disputes or enforce terms, unless a longer period is required by law.
  • Order and invoice records — often several years where required for taxation and consumer rules.
  • Security logs — for a limited retention period appropriate to detect abuse and protect systems.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where Visupair relies on it. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority; in Poland this is commonly the PUODO (President of the Personal Data Protection Office), and in other countries your local supervisory authority.

To exercise your rights, contact info@visupair.com. Visupair may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

8. Security

Visupair uses industry-standard measures suited to the nature of Visupair’s service (for example encryption in transit, access controls, and secure hosting). No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure; Visupair works to reduce risk and respond to issues responsibly.

9. Children

The Visupair site is not directed at children under 16 (or the age required in your country). Visupair does not knowingly collect children’s personal data for marketing. If you believe Visupair has collected such data, email info@visupair.com and Visupair will take appropriate steps to delete it.

10. Changes

Visupair may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change and, where the update is material, Visupair may also notify you on the site or by email if Visupair has your address.
